So you bought something that broke or you want to improve it

A few years back I bought a coffee table from a famous online furniture retailer. While the table was the perfect size and had a lovely metal frame, the plywood with veneer on the top was awful. As soon as water got on it, the surface bubbled up. I didn’t want to replace the whole thing. I didn’t have to. Instead I made my own table top out of the hardwoods of my choice.

We don’t have to start over

Sometimes we buy or inherit something that has a small flaw. We don’t need to scrap it. We can build upon it. I try to create as little waste as possible and salvage parts of furniture that still work well. If something needs modification instead of being rebuilt from the ground up, I am happy to help. Maybe your coffee table can use help or your nightstand needs a new top. Taking something apart and making the worst part the best is all part of creation.
